Can't tell if the Phillips 17" LCD TV is High Def or not and Phillips' website is terrible. It looks like it is in widescreen format at least, unlike the Sharp. Can't tell if the SVA is widescreen or not but I'm guessing not by some of the reviews. Any input?

thats not worth 20 refs, considering you can get 1000 bucks from OC for 18 refs, on phreelcds 20 refs is only worth 995 =\

I think I'm going to go for either the Phillips 17" or the SVA 20". Need to do more research on them. Don't know if either is high def or if you can even tell if it is in high def because the screen is too small.

Hey, I actually have that SVA model of TV. Its 640x480 and the contrast ratio is pretty sucky. You can pick it up for about 400.00 on the internet. You'll be better off with phillips although you have to have the right use for a widescreen that small. The plus note on the SVA model is that it comes with about 100.00 in cables alone.

I'm just going for one of the 5 ref 15" LCD's. I need a new monitor desperatley and that will fit the bill perfectly. I only need 2 more refs too! Who wants to help me out? )
