Thought i would show this to as may people possible.
Someone just pointed this out to me. I feel retarded after being ripped off through web certificates.

I use Paypal a lot, and i didn't even know about this. So if you do know about this, help explain if i didn't cover.

Log in to your paypal account

Click 'Withdraw'

You'll see a couple options you can choose. The 5th one down click "Shop online with a PayPal virtual card"

Now, enter in any site you want. Just go to half.com. It will pop up a window like webcertificate.com does. It gives you a mastercard number with all the info you need!

It takes it from your paypal account so it's better than a webcertificate in my opinion.

This isn't the same as webcerts.

For one, webcerts can be made to have any name/address you want.
Paypal uses your info...

Well, let's say you have a web certificate for $20. If you fill out an offer that will charge you... let's say $100 bucks if you don't cancel, and that time comes, then that company is out of luck. Because your card is only worth $20. and they dont know that.

Now, the disadvantage with paypal is that if you dont have the funds in your paypal account, and you're on an automattic monthly charge, it will take it out as an e-Check from your banking account.

So that's the only disadvantage using Paypal. You still will need to cancel your offers. But a lot of people dont have credit cards, and this is a great alternative.

i don't think peple realize, that you need to have a credit card on file with paypal for this to work.

lol nice Eatchex

And even if this isn't ideal for completing referrals, i still think it's sweet. Usually i'm bummed out if an online store doesn't accept paypal. And this is a neat alternative

I have been doing this for a while but it sometimes sucks because of the three digit code (cvc2 security code I believe it is called) which is usually found on the back of credit cards. I used to try 000 but it only has worked for one site thus far that requires it.

yep, same here. If a website/offer asks for the 3-Digit Security Code, u can't use the Paypal Online Virtual CC. It sucks. oh well

i think Nexiderm tried to charge me 77 dollars when i only had 6 in my paypal account (after i had already cancelled), and it didn't withdraw the money from my account. It just denied the transaction three times until they gave up, or until my second cancellation request was honored.

yes but it still gives you another credit card, and you can track charges more easily than a real credit card.
