I got my WinTV PVR-350 from NewEgg (with my notebooks money), and I'm currently using TitanTV, WinTV Scheduler, and WinTV 2000 for my recording. I'm sure there's better software out there, so I'm hoping someone here can recommend something good for me.
I just need some free software that can be used for scheduling and doing the recording. Also, anyone have a suggestion for a quick and simple movie editor? I just want to clip out the commercials for shows I record.

I don't know of any freebies for Windows that work worth a flip, certainly not as polished as Myth. If you're not experienced in running Linux, Myth might be a little complicated, but you can try one of the bootable Myth distros like KnoppMyth.

I roll with SageTV and I love it. Got it running on a box in my living room hooked up to a big flatscreen.
