http//www.howardstern.com[]http//www.howardstern.com has Mitch Hedberg being found dead in his apartment this morning. I can't find any information anywhere else about this. I really hope that this is an early April Fool's joke. That dude was seriously funny.

Although the title of the article is "Farewell to a Friend," I didn't see anywhere that it mentions him dieing. I check his site and there is no mention there also http//www.mitchhedberg.net/.

I'm one of the people that he claims "doesn't listen" on satellite radio. He is hilarious!!!

A friend just called me to tell me he heard Mitch died so I've been scouring the internet and haven't found anything. Probably a hoax... a very lame hoax.

In his Comedy Central bio, it says he "passed away this week" and "Mitch passed away in March, 2005".

I'm really hoping that it's a bad April Fool's Joke.
I haven't heard anything about it before today, so it seems like it could be....

Sadly, it's true. Nobody's released an official cause of death yet, but they're pointing at heart attack right now. He was only 37, and a really funny guy. This is truly a sad day for the comedy community.

I also heard something on XM Radio this morning. Although they never mentioned specifically that he died... they are having a "tribute to Mitch Hedberg" this weekend and mentioned that "his comedy will live on."

I guess it could be some sort of poor-taste April Fool's joke, but it sucks either way.
