It actually doesn't seem that bad and they have a lot of well-known sellers on there. Next month I'm buying a Powerbook and it looks like I can get $100 cash back from StarClub. It might not payoff for me to keep them as I don't make many big purchases (or even small ones), but still...seems pretty good. Anyone have any experience using them?

same here. Sounds like a good enough deal--I pay $20 and get $50. I net $30. Pretty good ROI in my book. Plus if you actually use the coupons and stuff regularly enough, it can pretty much pay for itself every month.

I'll prolly keep it around for at least a little while-- especially since one of the things you can get cashback from is a place which gives gift cards/certificates for certain businesses, including amazon.com. StarClub also has cashback from Best Buy (which you should be able to just do in-store pickup) and Target (though I dunno if they have an in-store pickup option available).

So has anyone tried this with starclub rewards?

Complete mp3players4free and get the $275
Go through starclub and purchase a 30GB photoipod from buy.com for $335 (free shipping)
Get 20% back from starclub $67

So you can upgrade to a 30GB photo ipod with $7 to spare.

Am I missing something?

I haven't (since I don't have much use for iPods), but that's really good thinking there.

I'm going to give it a try if I ever get my referrals to turn green. I had three trades set up for my final three referrals and two of them are still yellow and I am still yellow for someone else that I had to go first... this is driving me crazy. I had such good luck with freeipod and freeipodshuffle and now I'm running into nothing but problems! Sorry.... just needed to rant a little bit!

Okay, so here is the new plan since I'm happy using my shuffle and need a camera instead

I’m planning on getting a camera using my starclub rewards account and purchased from buy.com. Here’s what I’m looking at doing

[code1db0f51af39]Canon S1 IS Camera: $299.00
Canon Pixma iP4000 Photo Printer: $130.00
512MB Compact Flash: $ 36.00
-------
Subtotal $465.00
Starclub Rewards cash back (20%) -$ 93.00
-------
$372.00
Rebate (camera+printer combo) -$ 70.00
Rebate (flash) -$ 5.00
-------
TOTAL $297.00

Cash from cameras4free $325.00
[/code1db0f51af39]

Camera, printer, and 512MB compact flash with $28.00 to spare!

Any problems with my logic before I place the order???

I ordered a 6GB Ipod (engraved) from the Apple Store using Star Club, but they still haven't credited my account with the purchase yet. Its been nearly a month.

Emailing them might help. That's always been my concern about buying stuff through their website -- that it wouldn't recognize and credit my account.

Your logic seems good. Also slightly off-topic, but I got that camera from Cameras4Free and I love it )

I purchased an armband from the apple store through starclub and received credit within a few days. I am always worried though about not getting credit as getting credit seems to be tough now-a-days with everything.
