8 GB Touch Ipod

I'm wondering has anyone tried returning this ipod back to a store like BB for store credit. If you bought it from BB, would the box be the same as you get it from Trainn?

Well, if the ipod was bought by TraInn @ BestBuy, yes you can probably return it, but what's the point ? Just take the cash option...

I believe they buy them directly from apple.

Most stores do not accept iPod returns that weren't purchased from them -- many have tried to return freebie iPods with no luck. iPods, like many expensive electronics, are usually inventoried by serial number, so they can tell if they ever sold it or not.

There has been mixed results with returning to Apple Stores. Some have accepted the return for store credit, others have not.

Since Trainn offers a PayPal option for all of their sites that I've seen, you would be better off just choosing that.

Apple never had a problem with my friend or I returning our Mac Books for store credit. I just wanted the black model so I returned it and paid the difference.

taking the cash option from train is an option but you make out with less cash. They do not payout the cash equivalent for the same amount of referrals. Just a thought

Well maybe... But for a few bucks it's simpler (except youripodtouch4free where it's 60/ref versus 50/ref for cash)

Yep, I believe they order them straight from Apple, because you can get them laser-etched.

yes they do order some from apple, but not all. If apple takes to long, like in my case they order it from amazon.
