You sure you didn't accidentally signup using that e-mail? Like maybe the browsers auto-complete filled it in for you and you didn't catch it?
That's the only way I can figure. I'm assuming you actually DID signup for the site, right?

The thing is I NEVER use this email, but I may have found the problem, the password looks typical of what my friend would use for a password so it may be solved. Either way I want the account deleted. I signed up already using my usual email for freesites (johnjimjones) about 2 months ago. So saying I signed up again was usually, but I may have found the problem.

The only time that email is sent is when a new account is created and is sent to the email address that the user registering fills in so someone registered with that email address.

I figured out the problem, my friend was signing up and entered in the wrong email address for the referral so I got the email. No problems here.
