Does Paypal always insist on upgrades for payments from TRAINN?

I just logged in and in order to accept payment I have to upgrade to premier and pay a percentage of wha I received from TRAINN.

It does mention that they used a credit card or debit card rather then a bank deposit or paypal balance. Alan, is there some way to avoid this? I'd rather receive my full amount, I give paypal enough money as it stands now.

yea thats common, to receive any payment you have to upgrade your account, won't cost you a monthly fee or anything just a small percentage of the amount you receive. it isn't much so i wouldn't worry about it.

Do I need to become a verified member in order to accept the payment? Can I simply just accept the payment and take the PayPal charge?

i'm not sure i know what you mean, i just joined as a regular member with nothing to pay although you can verify you address and bank account then just upgraded the account and was able to accept payments. not sure if there is anything else.

So... I can just accept the payment as a regular member with just a little PayPal service charge?

How much was the charge?

Ok. Thanks! Sorry I have another question.

Do I need to report this on any of my tax forms?

I'm a college student, so I don't know much about reporting rewards.

The percentage is roughly 3%, but after your upgrade ALL paypal transactions will have the same charge.

I suggest also getting a debit card, it comes free with the premier account and it makes withdrawing money ALOT simpler!

Can't you use your PayPal money on Ebay or some PayPal payment accepted site?

I don't quite get this, do they take a percentage when they send the money or do they only take a percentage when you try to withdraw it? Right now I'm a verified regular member on paypal

Checks are available for cash/paypal options on all sites. Just indicate that you want a check in the notes section.

Here is the definative answer to the first question

Trainn can only place so many funds into there paypal account from thier bank account. So after these funds have been spent they have to pay from a credit card. In order to accept credit card payments though you have to upgrade to "premier" where they take a % out. So if you get in when they have the funds already in the account you will not have to pay paypal any money (unless you are "premier").

I just recieved $300 and $250 from 2 different Trainn sites )

$300 = $9 dollar fee
$250 = $8 dollar fee
