Bad news for 3604Free.com Canadian orders

We had originally hoped to have our Canadian shipments handled by a 3rd party, however they have not been able to obtain sufficient quantity for all orders and we are attempting to locate another distributor to carry the remaining load. If you would like to switch your order, we would be glad to provide you with an alternative Paypal payment of our cost for the Canadian shipments (470 USD, 559 CAD). Looks like us Canuck's won't be getting a 360 in the next few weeks unless we buy one ourselves. (

I ordered way back on September 22cd, so you'd atleast think that my order could be secured since most retailers weren't even taking preorders then.

I apologize for that, things really went south with the Canadian shipments and it wasn't until the systems were to ship did it come to light. We are trying to find other ones, but as you can imagine at this point, it's hard to find one that will have available stock in the near future.

For those in the U.S. first shipment, you do not need to worry as we received sufficient stock and the remaining couple that have not been shipped from the first shipment will be going out tomorrow! All tracking numbers will be uploaded into the system by tomorrow evening.

It was something considered, but would end up including duties and taxes which we do not want to make the recipients pay (after the item is suppose to be free).

It's good to know you all received enough stock, hopefully that is a good sign for those of us in the 2nd shipment....so is it looking like things will be going out around the original time frame?? (~1 week after launch for 2nd shipment)....and I'm hoping that the fact you got sufficient stock also means that there really isn't a shortage as expected ....

No strike you will be number like 5000 in the list. If you get approved in the next two weeks you can expect it by June of next year.

Lol, yea seriously they are so backed up, its not even funny.

So Alan.... It's XBOX 360 DAY!!!! haha do you know when trainn will ship out or have enough quantity for the 2nd shipment? what about the 3rd?

Just please give us an honoest rough estimate, so we don't hope for anything earlier.

The Canadian distributor waited until the last minute to last us know that their expected inventory was cut. As you might expect, this is likely to lead to significant delays with Canadian shipments (at least until the "shortage" ends). We do not have any updated estimates for Canadian 360 shipments.

However, those who ordered the system and are from Canada can email us and we are offering a cash substitution if you do not wish to wait.

Was it Futureshop.ca? If it was, my local FS has some available to buy in store so you can always call them and ask them to ship them frmo the retail outlets.
