As for the white one, my order has been "Received" since Nov. 8th with a shipping estimate of Nov 18th. My status hasn't changed to "backordered" or anything.

in my experience they usually won't mark it backordered until after the shipping estimate has passed. It will probably change to shipping soon or backordered this week.

I never got that status. It was either "Received" since Nov. 8th, til today Nov. 15th's "Shipped."

ahhh lol... I placed the order for my 4gb black ipod nano on flashipods4free on the 10th, but really early around 6AM Eastern Standard Time... and the shipping estimate is November 20th.
The order status is still at "received".
Maybe mine will say shipped tomorrow or on thursday? I hope it is shipped tomorrow so I receive it by Saturday. )
could anyone from previous experiences tell me about how long it takes to receive the item once shipped from train and what type of USPS shipping method they use?
I am guessing they use USPS priority mail, which takes 2-3 days... right?

I am under the impression that it is the 60 gb video ipod that is backordered, NOT the 30 gb... I could be wrong, perhaps both are backordered, but I have noticed there are a hell of a lot more people going for the 60 rather than the 30 (I am processing for the 30 as well) so I am not worried.

if they fall behind on their shipping, they could just say the product is backordered. That doesn't seem fair. They should tell you it's backordered when you first place the order.

I think the guarantee's more a way of showing they're one of the more legit free sites out there. Some other sites will make you wait 6 weeks after approval to get the item even if it's not backordered (they can earn interest on the money they're spending that way), and Trainn is trying to show how they're better than that.

any word on when these will ship? TRAINN told me it would be this week. My est. ship date was nov 21, and as of today, nov 23, my order still only shows as received.
Also, what is the deal with the guarantee. Is it if the item doesn't ship within 15 days of being approved?

My shipping est. was the 19th and I'm still sitting at "recieved" for the black 30gig. The gaurantee does not apply to backordered items.

where does it say the item is backordered? Shouldn't it say it on your order status page? Also, I received an e-mail from TRAINN saying all the ipods will ship this week.

Just checked my status and its now "shipped". sixteen days after I ordered and six days ofter my shipping estimate. Still way faster then gratis. No tracking number but I assume its three day shipping.
