What kind of new items would people like to see from Trainn? I kind of wanted Nocash's minifridge...thought that was pretty unique and creative as a reward. Maybe a computer site or a laptop site? What do people want to see from Trainn?

I personally, would like to see a flatscreen tv added to their flatscreen site. Since I'm Canadian, the Freepay site isn't open to me. I really want the Sony 27" FD Trinitron Wega TV KV-27FS120. Freepay offers this at 8 referrals and I think this is redoable because it costs around the same price as the Xbrite monitor.

The E Warehouse
Price $329.90
Availability Usually ships in 1-2 business days
Target
Price $349.99
Availability Usually ships in 3 to 5 days

Alan, any thoughts on this?

All suggestions are welcomed, we hope to have 2-3 new sites up before the end of the year (1 regular, 2 different concepts) so feel free to email us or post suggestions.

A giant custom order only site would be awesome, but you wouldn't get bulk futfillment discounts (

edit -

that, and you'd lose money if people always cashed out after a couple refs. you'd want to make the limit like ~3 refs to get a prize.

Just to prevent any false hopes, we will not be launching any custom order sites.

How about a site that simply offers paypal? 3-20 refs, with respective paypal payments.

I would definitely do that. I always take the paypal over a gift.

only thing I have against a strictly paypal site is that it might null the paypal offers on all the other sites limiting you to a one time payout from Trainn for paypal.

I'm unsure if this makes any sense because I just typed it in not that great a state so I'll try again. Seeing as to how youre not allowed to do a site more than once, making a pypal-only site might mean that Trainn would take off all the paypal offers on their other sites which would restrict you to a single payment from Trainn for the rest of your freebie career. It doesnt seem like much of a good idea. Theyll have paypal on all their sites, find one you wouldnt want to recieve the prize for and do it for the max amount of paypal or something, it seems very reasonable. Of course I write this all according to an assumption that a strictly paypal site would remove paypal offers on all other sties.

jordan90

15-11-2005 13:22:42

But it would be cool if there was a $1000 Paypal on one of the sites.

I don't think it makes much sense as to why they would restrict paypal from the other sites.

However, I imagine it won't happen, as paypal cuts into profits more than a gift.

How does Paypal cut into your profits more when it takes 6 referrals for $300 as opposed to 5 referrals for a $300 iPod (with video)?

Anything over $600 requires us to collect a W9 form from you so we have held off expensive items so far. It doesn't mean they are off limits because if the demand is there we'll do it, but I'm sure it would discourage some.

So I heard.....

Well in my mind, it may discourage primarily those without the proper credentials... Considering that you run the site so that you order your gifts when requested, I'd assume that it wouldnt be as much trouble to have larger/more espensive itesm such as hdtvs and such.. STill... We'll be looking for your new sites (hopefully soon)..

HEHE... Alan, Why dont you hold out and PM me so i can be the very first one to know D I wouldnt mind "testing" the new 32" hdtv/monitor site out for you and your staff.. I'll do the whole W9 thing myself and all...

I agree 600$+ sites are NOT good because it severaly cuts into the noob base, the noob base expansion is just not there to support a 600$+ site. As it is right now almost everyone can complete the sites they want without too much difficulty, 600$+ sites are only for a couple.

Definitely.

But considering they have $415 for 10 refs, they'd probably make it closer to 13-15 refs. ?

ooooooooh a game bundle sort thing, thats a great idea.. 5 games for 5 refs, thats about right since its $250 for about 5 games these days.. with the exception of 360 games.. I think thats a GREAT idea..

romanodog

28-11-2005 08:41:10

I vote for games again!
what about digital cameras, those are nice too

autiger

28-11-2005 09:38:51

I think that a games site would be really cool, but I think that they should also offer 360 games. Since the games are more expensive they could just offer less 360 games for the same amount of referrals. Hopefully Trainn will do something like this or an HDTV site as I really have enjoyed my experience with them so far.....too bad Microsoft is trying the worldwide launch within weeks of each other, otherwise I believe we'd be having no problems getting systems in time...oh well it isn't Trainns fault! But seriously, a games site would be great as I ain't got no money to spend on games.......
