They're definitely NOT slacking off. It's a busy time. Alan himself has said that they're "taking one step back to take two steps forward" right now before they get too much demand.

And from what I've read, points accounts should theoretically get approved quickly, because there aren't any referrals to approve.

How much faster? They still have to approve the offers that you do.

On a points account, as soon as you meet the requirements, you are allowed to order. The reason this is permitted is the verification for that account type takes all of 5 minutes so we do that right before filling the order.

With the exception of a few, everything submitted up to the 3rd is completed and within the next 24-36 hours, everything up to the 6th will also be reviewed.
