Can we make our own pre-orders?

I'm going for the Xbox 360 (my account is being verified right now) and I would like to Pre-Order it by myself, but the giftcards that you guys are giving out won't cover the cost of the actual XB360 Premium bundle system (what we get with 8 referrals, correct?). So will you perhaps make an Amazon.ca giftcertificate (I'm in Canada) that would fully cover the pre-order costs that I can use to pre-order the item by myself?

Thanks,

We'll take it into consideration, but since there is a currency different it would be based on the amount offered in US dollars.

So you are saying that I could get a $399US + 15% HST (yay Canada!) gift certificate? That's how much it lishouldli cost you to buy an XB360 and send it to my house, if you don't buy them in wholesale (which I think would be pretty hard to do since they are going to be in such high demand).

Yeah, I know that.

Actually, scratch this idea since it would just be a hassle for everyone. I'll just patiently wait for my Xbox to arrive. Alan, your customer service rep. said that since I'm in Canada that the Xbox would arrive 1-10 days after launch so the $100US offer doesn't apply to me, which is fine. I'm just wondering is there any guarantee of it's arrival at all?

Thanks again,

No, it would have been based on the $399 USD value.

Even buying wholesale directly from them isn't getting much of a discount. The "Core" system costs $301 (it's being sold at a loss), and the "Premium" system is $398. For this reason, expect a lot of retailers to require a bundle.
