Ok, I know there are other threads about this, but this one is a bit different....it seems that many people aren't getting credited for this offer...is that the case? if you haven't received credit please post your experience in this thread...I was hoping I could get my friends to sign up for this, as I tried it before and enjoyed it...it's a good service really, but if the credit isn't going through what's the point? But to be honest I haven't seen any of my referrals go through, this is frustrating to the point that I am considering throwing in the towel and never trying for a free site again...but I must be patient....anyways I'd love to hear some feedback....

I've had 5 people do Stamps.com for me in the past week (4 have credited- one has not)
8/18 Credited
8/19 Credited
8/19 No Credit
8/20 Credited
8/22 Credited
Not ready to read too much into the 8/19 no show yet, but it seems weird that one credited the same day for me and the two since have already credited.
Alan/Trainn Support Should I have that ref file a missing credit request or wait?

Did stamps yesterday afternoon, still haven't gotten credit. Sent in support ticket, waiting to hear back from trainn. Was wary about doing this one 'cause I'd heard bad things about it, but was requested to do it so I did.

Well when you send the ticket it says, "this offer is supposed to credit instantly, have you waited an appropriate amount of time?," so I felt that that was appropriate.

Offers credit on weekends.
Unless it says "Next Business day and you have done your offer on Friday"

I signed up for Stamps.com on 8/15/05 and still have not received credit, despite having received several confirmation emails and even a hard copy snail-mail welcome kit. The offer was completed as part of a trade with someone on this site, and it's frustrating because he went green so quickly for me.
I submitted a credit request several days ago (not sure of the exact date) and am trying to be patient, and so is the person with whom I made the trade. But my experience with FreePay has been vastly superior...

It takes time to confirm the signup, with Freepay you wouldn't have even been allowed to submit a credit request at this point.

Alan,
Thanks for responding.
I respect that some things take time, and I regret making a direct comparison to one of your competitors; my point is just as valid without that comparison. I sympathize with the operators of sites like yours, who must constantly deal with unreasonable expectations of instant gratification. And I think it's great that a few of the operators (like you) are willing to devote time and resources to responding to people like me on this site.
However, the Stamps.com offer was advertised as crediting instantly, which seems contradictory to the statement that "it takes time to confirm a signup." I only requested credit approval because there was an unexpected delay in the process as it was advertised.
At this point, the person for whom I completed the offer is questioning my credibility. And I understand why; though our original agreement was simply to complete offers for one another, the implicit understanding was that completing an offer would translate to credit (a green) on your site. So despite having done everything within my power to uphold my end of the deal, I am viewed by this person as having possibly betrayed our agreement. In fact, since things haven't happened as quickly as they were advertised on the site, he wants me to complete a second offer.
I don't mean to point fingers--I think fingerpointing and expectations of instant gratification are two of the things plaguing this entire community (sites, advertisers, and users). I'm just worried that I'm being held accountable for an error that originated with one of the other stakeholders in this model.
Anyway, I'm being patient. But I hope that readers of this thread will consider my comments (as well as all the others) before signing up for the Stamps.com offer through any of the Transcendent Innovation sites.
Regards,
Keith

I was referring to those that involve a missing credit request [as taking time to confirm]. Those that don't and are listed as "Instant" truely are, as in the second you submit your information
