i think it should be $400 for 8 refs.
you get $250 for 5 refs, so you have to get another 4 refs just for another $150. it doesnt add up to me.

We do not use "global" values that runs throughout the network. The items are setup and priced based on the demand and user trends of the particular site.

And 3 more refs gets you $350 on 3604free, I think it's pretty reasonable.
