I started a new site called Make That Dollar. The website is http//www.makethatdollar.com.

I just launched a few days ago.

There are currently two contests going on, a referral contest and an offer completion contest. More information on these can be found on the News page on the site.

Let me know what you guys think of the site.

Oh yeah, I'm adding 50+ offers at least each day.

I'm paying $100 for the pre-launch referral contest. All you have to do is refer as many members as you can until November 30th. The top three winners will receive $50, $35, and $15.

The shipping/approval time doesn't really matter here since it's a more of a DIY site. You just complete offers for cash and once it's complete, the cash is credited to your account. Right now, once you reach $10, you can cashout.

I have plenty of start-up capital, so don't worry about that.

Why not? It doesn't matter anyway, but I'm just curious.

The freebie site market is incredibly over-saturated. I am sure many will tell you that though, so good luck.

Oh well. I have a feeling I will be able to offer many things other places won't be able to.

Hehe, nice try. It's in the works and will be displayed in the news section and on my site when it's completed.

Sorry you feel that way but you could easily win. There are tons of non-cc offers (surveys) to do. I can't offer much more money right now. Eventually I will be able offer more and more once I get going.

I don't feel like your site is done correctly. The layout is plain and simple, nothing too catchy. I read that you only have like 49 offers up, which is a low amount for a DIY site. Also, you say that "payout/approval times do not matter because it's just a DIY site" when it actually does matter.

People will not be happy if they're told "instant cashout!" and have to wait a month or so to get their cashout.

Your contests also aren't generating any interest from me. That's my take.

vcsanchez19

I have 103 offers up right now and adding 50+ a day.

I know it's simple and plain, but the way I look at it is, the less money I put into the design and layout, the more money I can pay to members in contests and promotions. I will be working on the layout and making it more appealing, but not at this time. My main objective is to add more offers.

The payout/approval time does matter. I didn't mean it doesn't. You can request a payout anytime you have $10 and you will be paid within 48 hours. However, as the site grows, these will change.

What's wrong with the contests? Is it the money that's being offered? I know it's not that high but at least it's something.

48 hours? $10? That's fast. Something fishy about this. You'd make absolutely barely any profit doing that.

I make profit from members completing offers. I also have a LARGE startup fund that helps me pay out quicker than any other site.

If you think it's fishy and don't want to be paid, don't join. I'm legit and that's all there is to it.

We know how the freebie scene works. And you are right, if he does not think he is legit, he won't do it.

When do you plan on officially launching it, and when will your 1st payout be?

Give the guy a break. You do need some major graphical work done though. He might have something to offer that other sites don't.

I've already launched it I guess. I am allowing members to signup and complete offers. The first payout will be whenever the first member reaches $10 at least and requests it ;).

I am going to work on the graphics and layout of the site. But the main goal right now is to put up more offers.

I am adding new methods of payment as well now. You can get paid in Visa gift cards and in gift cards to any store!

You have to pay ADMIN a $1000

DIABLO

22-11-2006 15:50:45

Actually, you have to wait 6 months after your site was launched
OR pay the admin $500 which you WILL get back after 6 months, if you decide to scam they distribute the money to people who worked on your site(s).

vcsanchez19

22-11-2006 16:22:46

I'll be glad to wait the 6 months.
