Ok so, I started on their ipod and appliances sites at the same time, I finished the ipod site, and literally after a month of submitting for approval I was approved, then literally a month after that (Exactly a month) my gift went to shipped, then 12 days later, I had my ipod. Then I decided to finish the appliances site. So I submit for approval, and I go on hold. The reason, because my ex-gf did it for me when we were going out, and I told her she didn't have to but I appreciated it, so she never completed an offer. Anyway, we both had the same password, because, and I hate to say it, but because we shared a myspace cry
Anyway, so I go on hold for that, I explain the situation (one that YGF said he wouldn't have put someone red for) in a support ticket, and they keep saying I frauded their site back. So for about 2 weeks, they aren't responding anymore. This is easily the worst network out there as of right now (keep in mind, my opinion, you may have better luck with them then I did)
Anyway, I'm letting you guys know, do this site at your own risk, as they will easily try and take advantage of you.

ur girlfriend did what and never did an offer?
she signed up as your referral but didnt do an offer?
did she do it at your house/dorm room/apartment?

nope, my ex gf lived across the street from me, ya dig? one day, after I told her about me doing freebies and whatnot, she said she was going to do one for me, so she copied the link from my computer and I guess either IMed it to herself or Emailed it, either way, she got the link, and signed up. When I saw her email address there, I said, "no, it's alright, I can handle the refferals, but thanks" Idk why but I wouldn't feel right having her do one for me. So anyway, she was just an idle yellow on my account the entire time, and we had the same password...so they put me on hold for that cry

It's because of same passwords.

They shouldn't do that though, since passwords can be common.

Some people use easy to remember passwords without thinking about secureness. "It could be superdude111" as a password, and multiple users might use that password, [bc310229501]therefore it's an illigitimate reason to DQ a user[/bc310229501].

It's just annoying that they wont respond or give me my well deserved mini fridge! Aarrrgh, maybe a rep will see this and think again? shrug

Ugh, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to make them coopoerate with me? I just want/need that fridge so badly! Arghhhhh

Its been done by other networks before. Just because YGF said he wouldn't do that, it doesn't mean others would. I've heard of cases of Free4Me doing this.

Its not a great reason to put you on hold, but iit does indicate possibly having multiple accounts.

So what do you guys think. Am I pretty much screwed out of 160 dollars?

jy3

23-10-2006 14:26:58

probably u are screwed. u could always try contacting the useless bbb or do other means of reporting them. u could report them for internet fraud i guess

Tsmith10803

23-10-2006 14:47:55

My dads a national consumer reporter, so I guess I can just contact his people at the BBB and other places like that.

Well, they replied to my support ticket saying they'd look into it. Lets keep our fingers crossed, if they come through I'll have some pretty good things to say about them, ya know, paying to ship a 4 cubic foot mini fridge shock

posting every day is only going to raise your blood pressure.

the site has a long history of being on the slow-side when it comes to support issues. i think you should be happy they said they'd "look into it"....duplicate passwords is a common reason why accounts are put on hold.

and playing the 'my dad's a national consumer reporter'-card and using the BBB as an option won't get you very far. with the exception of freepay, these freebie sites aren't big enough to get scared over a BBB-claim.

Well, his 'lawyer' is his dad lol
He was using it as a way to scare me, but his dad won't even respond to the email I sent him roll after he emailed me.
Long story short, I got ripped by the free project and the owner is very childish

I've been preaching against TFP since they abruptly closed down their first site, paid out only $15/ref, and then proceeded to start a network (a crappy one at that).

Someone told me the free project was owned by a previous scammer (before running TFP)

.....wait, isn't YGF run by a previous scammer. So you are saying that is a bad thing? Hm.....

No. I didn't mean it in that way. P <333

YGF is a reputable company though. TFP, people are saying not to trust them. ;)

Exactly. TheFreeProject was my first site. I barely hit the cut-off for receiving my gift compared to the $15/ref compensation. I never touched one of TFP sites again.

zr2152

05-12-2006 11:01:12

okay all of you who are complaining about tfp really boggle my mind.

I have completed headphones and was paid 225 for 5 refs.

Yesterday, I just got approved on my cameras site and am going to be paid 275 for only 6 refs. My experience with tfp has been awesome.

So what if they only answer your support tickets one time per week. I told them that I had been awaiting manual credit for over 2 weeks and then I just completed another offer and they approved my accout the next business day because I was waiting sooo long for manual crediting.

I like tfp and I am going to continue to pursue their sites due to the good payout ratio (which seems to be close to trainn).

Maybe they got their act together and maybe some of you should continue to complete their sites.
