I am wanting to sign up for headphones.thefreeproject... is this site legit, and what type of offers they have..

ok, i have been working on the free project for a long time. i was fairly happy that they were fast about showing referals. the problem was that today (or last night) they changed what the referals were worth. I had 4 out of the 5 of the referals and my offer completed with a full offer credit, but now THEY EACH ONLY COUNT FOR 1/2 A CREDIT. This means that now like all my referals are useless.

This site is a little risky, and I would be careful.

Yea it sucks ass right now. I submitted for approval on 2 of his sites last night, now they all are missing credits. argh

Yeah I lost 3 refs this morning to 1/2 credit. It seems kind of unfair because I can't really ask my refs to do another offer when they already went green

Yea I lost 11 greens on his assorted sites as well as 2 of my own. This shit sucks so bad. It essentially puts me at square one.

I just lost four of my greens too. Can they really get away with doing this?

i figure that "legally" through their terms and conditions, they are allowed to do this, but this is going to start horrible pr for their site.

i lost almost all of my creditst too. it says i still need 1/2 an offer credit, and that my 4 friends who had 1/2 an offer completed are only worth one. i don't even understand their math in that!

i am freakin' pissed at their site right now. i emailed the guy on these forums "TheFreeProject", but the guy only has like 10 posts, so my hopes for a reply are not high. i have also put in a support ticket asking that they help me out.

This was actually a mistake. Kirby and his team were not aware that all previous credits had gone yellow. They only wanted this to affect future greens. This will be fixed shortly.

YAY! UR RIGHT! I checked my account this morning and now have all full credit for my offers and referals. they changed back to the original offer credits on the offer page, but at least i can be assured that they won't remove my credits. i feel a LOT better right now.

ok...now i am confused again. only the main site (thefreeproject.com) will load without any other problems. all of the other sites want some "ion-cube" php thing to be installed. from what i can tell, thefreeproject needs to install these files on their server, and it isn't something i need to do. nonetheless, i cannot access my account, and something is wrong. anybody have an clue/ideas? are they working on this?

i guess they got it fixed. i just want to get my ipod.

Yeah, I'm working on ipods, ipodnanos, headphones and psps there.

ok, i was scanning the forums again to see if anyone else was doin' thefreeproject thing. here's how it's goin' for me.

finally got all 5 greens
asked for verification on 1/31/06
became verified on 2/2/06 (only 2 days!)
now, i am just waiting for it to ship. i asked them to ship it today, and wod has it that they are trying to speed up. hopefully in under a month.

Last one I was finished they paid me in about 20 days.

So is this site good or no? Because if it is, someone can send me their link and I'll use that to sign up just to be nice. Or we could make a trade. Whatever.

the site is right now about half-decent. just in the time i have been working with them they have been hacked into, messed up the credits, and didn't have their "ion-cube" software properly installed. they are good people though, and will work through the bugs to help you out. i can send you a link, but which one were you looking to do?

i waited 2 months to get my money...but that was back in november when they were doin the switch to all the little sites...i liked it

I already signed up for the freepsp one, but it says I need 6 referrals. Is that right? Because on the starting page when I signed up, it said I only needed 5.

yeah, i am at the same point for my ipod.thefreeproject. they say 2 months max. i am currently at 9 days (7 business days). i want my ipod! i don't really doubt that they will get it to me, it is just WHEN????

its a glitch, change your gift in the "my account section" and will change it to 5

Yup, thats what the people said after I submitted a ticket. It worked.

also, i pm'd the free project rep on this site about gifts. i have been expecting my ipod, and he said that the shipment for the gifts should go out this week. yay! i am checking the tracking page like crazy.

I completed two "instant credit" offers on this site, but none of them have been credited as of yet. It's been a couple of days and I'm a little bit concerned. If there is any reason for why this is, I would like to know. I wouldn't even be asking if the two offers haven't been credited instantly for all my friends and the people at ratetheoffers.com.

i got $250 paypal from them, took about 3 weeks to get paid after i submitted though.... not a bad site pretty easy offers, had a bunch of friends to Stamps.com which was isntnat

first, the whole "instant" credit thing isn't necessarily the same for all sites. thefreeproject does have a little description under each link and should describe if it is instant or not. just becuase an offer was instant at ratetheoffers.com, doesn't mean it will be on thefreeproject. what offers did you try?

Both offers were and are instant offers on that site. Seems fishy to me...

I would just count it as bad luck or no credit loss. TFP is one of the better sites out, but like all small sites has its flaws

hmm, that does seem to be just bad luck. when i signed up for my instant offers and when my refs did, it credited instantly. try submitting a support ticket. it should help solve some of your problems.

also, TheFreeProject is the rep on this site. He has only posted like 10 times, but he will reply to PM's.

sweet, i just checked my Freeproject status. It said my ipod has shipped!

This means....
