Open letter from Cool4Free to the public

The Servers crashed last week and were down for close to 2 weeks this was because our hosts datacenters crashed.


Our sites have not been moved to the dedicated server yet becasue we were having problems moving our databases. We have found a way to fix that problem. WE WILL BE MOVING TO THE NEW SERVER TONIGHT. EXPECT SOME DOWNTIME TONIGHT MAY 4th around 9 pm Central.

Credits - We have not updated credits since the sites came back up because we are preparing for the move. All crediting will be done tomorrow or late tonight.


Support tickets - I have about 500 to reply to so please be patient we will get to yours.

Shipping - We have not stopped shipping we have just been having a few delays if you ordered you will get your gift. We are planning on finishing all shipping around the 20th of May or as soon as we can get everything back in order.

Verifying - We are going to start verifying once the sites are on the new server.

Live help - We are currently developing our Live help system to better suit you and are taking any ideas you can send them to email==admin@zens4free.comadmin@zens4free.com=admin@zens4free.comadmin@zens4free.com/email We will be posting Live help hours starting next week.

Cool4free.com - It says coming soon becasue we are having someone design us a new layout thats original and fits our network.

Please guys be patient I know we have had some problems and we are working to improve in everyway. Your items will be shipped. We are not just gonna close up shop and run. We are here to try and be the best please guys be patient with us while we get every thing back up and running to normal.

That sounds good I guess, I had pretty much written off ever getting a psp from them. They've got a long way to go if they want to be the best though.

I agree, but this eases my fears about them picking up and leaving with our money. Hopefully they ship my stuff before doing that D

Yeah I've been processing since 3/27 so I'm hoping they at least send it out sometime this month

Yeah, it'd be nice if my 3/11 PSP shipped sometime soon. 5/20 (his est. ship date) will be 2 months. It's like PrizeCube all over again.

That will be in like 2 months

Once the sites go back up they should be on the new server. I'd guess 1-2 days.

They're transferring to the new server now, that's why they're down.

I tend to agree with you. Usually messages like that after weeks of server problems just means they're buying time before the inevitable...

I have gotten my stuff from them for Zens, PSP and iPod...took paypal, $1310....just waiting for him to get his stuff fixed up so I can get my final credit on Skate and LCD updated so that I can get approved

I just wish he'd have finished the paypal. He probably had no idea how many people wanted it when he offered it. Oh well, I'll take the gifts at the end of the month.

Hey now Pod, PrizeCube was the shit.

I meant that sarcastically, but come to think of it, I guess they were indeed the shit, as in the shittiest site I've ever dealt with.

they officially died with a scammer name applied to them, correct?

I never figured out exactly what or how they went down. Their sites are still mostly active/live except for the www.cool4free.com name. I assume then that they are still trying to lure people into their traps no matter how much of a "scammer" name they've attributed to themselves?

Please enlighten me. Thank you.
