Don't get suckered in by people offering to "train" and "mentor". This stuff is easy enough to figure out if you're willing to read up on it.

In this forum, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO trade only with those that have a TR>4 right? Will look out for that...

Work with a legit, high TR trader, don't deal with newbies at all.

I wouldn't go as far as to say don't trade with newbies at all............. I'd say work with people with TR>4 until you reach 5 yourself, and then when you trade with n00bs you have nothing to lose because they have to go first.

That's how you get a lot of your business, can't swear them completely off. I was a n00b once (

And Trav, I agree with you... Don't think all the newbies on this forum are spammers. It's best as you advised. Cant wait to have a TR>4 so I can get TRcredits for trading with a trader of TR<4>4 pretty soon...

That's not fair.. because I am considered a "newbie" here based on my TR but I can tell you that I am no newbie and do many trades each day... lol

It is spamming if you never posted a topic asking for PM's.

If you haven't, PM a moderator and they will limit their PM'ing privileges or possibly temp ban them.

You don't need that here.

Ait zr2152. I might have to do that. I have a post for that, but when I get the PMs, they don't refer me to my post at all... they just welcome me to the FiPG and offer trades... Is that the same thing? I don't seem to get the difference...

As long as you have a post saying that you are willing to do sites, most people will be pming you. If it becomes a problem and it is starting to bother you and people are off topic in their Pm's, then contact a moderator.
