I've noticed that some people are newbies and have been a member of the site since August and others are actually users or addicts. What has to happen for the status to change, for example, from newbie to user?
Thanks for the help!! -)

Thank you Michelle
That helps a lot. I'll certainly give you a karma point.
And...how regularly do you get traders requesting to trade with you?

And to answer your question, CC, it's generally a waiting game. In my year of being here, it generally took 4-5 people to get 1 green. This varies by site, or course, but getting greens and trades isn't always so easy. Also, sometimes you can get many trades in a day, and other times you wait for days, weeks, or months for a successful trade.

It kind of runs in spurts. On one day, I may set up 4-5 or so trades, and then not get any for several days. I have just started trying to keep my eyes on the trading forum and jump on it when someone posts that they are looking to do sites. Once in a while, I get lucky and am among the first couple of people to respond. If there have been 7 or 8 responses, I may or may not respond. I usually figure that they have gotten what they wanted by that time.
Recently, I've had some people with 0 TR that just don't get the job done. I don't quite understand it, I did whatever it took to green when I was brand new. I guess some people just give up on the site and/or just quit the freebie scene. Even after helping them with lots of info about clearing cookies, landing page, etc. there are some people that seem to just not get it.
Bottom line, I figured out that if I want to get more trades, I need to spend ALOT of time watching the trading forum.

As to newbies not finishing Im afraid it has to do with offers not crediting and its sad. Im even having problems on good sites now with offers crediting.

I have to say "ditto" to what you said about new people leaving/giving up because of not receiving credit for the offers that they've done. That has got to be the most frustrating thing!! And, if it happens on your first site or even if it's your second or third it can still be very, very discouraging!

Are there certain Posts besides Trade Post that we don't get credit for. I thought I read somewhere, and correct me if I'm wrong, that we don't get credit for posting on brag-bag and maybe one other!!!
