Doesn't sound like an issue with the site, it sounds like an issue with the offer companies you signed up with.

You obviously didn't cancel correctly. And it's not yourflatscreen that is charging you it's the offers. Read the entire TOS before you sign up, these people who sign up without reading the TOS then complaining that their identity was stolen when they get charged are bringing down freebies. And your e-mail shouldn't be spammed, I get 1-2 spam messages a day in my inbox, the other 1000+ go into my spam folder. No company is going to commit credit card fraud, bottom line, it's your fault. If you try to file a credit card dispute they'll just provide proof that you agreed to it and keep charging you until you cancel. What offers did you sign up to?

You're making an awful lot of assumptions based on very little details, and coming off pretty rude in doing so.

I'm not trying to be rude, but all of these newbies coming in saying they signed up for offers and didn't cancel then complaining that they get charged for them are getting annoying and killing freebies. They then all file chargebacks and the offer companies usually just refunds them, really makes them want to stay in the freebie industry, doesn't it? With 99% of the people canceling right after they get credit and the others that get charged filing chargebacks, they're losing tons of money. And I didn't make any assumptions, he says "Several accounts taken money that I have not authorized. 2 accounts still take money even though I canceled them during trail periods."
So he's saying random people are taking money from his accounts, then he says they were trials and he canceled them. That shows that he signed up and obviously didn't cancel correctly, these companies won't go to jail and get fined over a few hundred dollars, if they were going to steal your money they'd charge you $1,000s not $50-$100.

DIABLO - I hate to burst your bubble dear but offer affiliates can and do continue to charge even if you have canceled. Certainly most do not but there are some that do charge even after cancelation. How many ways are there to cancel? If you have tried the product or service and you no longer want it - you either call or cancel online, you get a cancellation number. But even though you have followed the guidelines - sometimes things do not go so smoothly. Everything is not always black and white.
Just my two cents. Hope you can understand dear.

Yeah, that's true, but a lot of the shady companies have things hidden in their terms where they sign you up for different services or that you need to call to cancel even if there's a cancel thing on the site(true.com). If anybody did charge you without you agreeing to it in the TOS they wouldn't exist.

no, there are companies that are complete scams and do charge without any right. the company that owns WhiteOverNight and Celebrity Fit Club is such a huge scam. i don't know how they haven't been shut down.

DIABLO - they do exist. Perhaps your call slipped thru the lines or was not filed properly or for whatever reason but some offer affiliates do over charge or continue to charge even after you stop membership. This is why you hear of people filing a charge dispute with their bank or credit provider. It does happen even by legit companies.

Yeah they do exist.
What I recommend is checking the TOS (sometimes they do hide things).
Also, when you cancel, make sure that you get a confirmation number. Thirdly, I recommend getting online banking so that you can check your charges everyday. That is what I do and when I see a mysterious charge on my debit card, I call the number and if it is still not worked out, I call my bank/cc company.

There are many shady companies that will continue to charge you. A couple years ago, my parents signed up for this dialup internet service. It was complete crap, and it took over 1 month of phone calls for them to finally cease our service and stop billing us. My advice is to check out the BBB websites to see if there are any complaints for any of the products/services you sign up for.

Diablo, as a few others have stated, there are companies that do steal money from you even if you have cancelled. It has happened to me on 2 different sites and luckily I got both charges reversed. One of them was Pure Health Hoodia which you can view what happened here http//forum.freeipodguide.com/viewtopic.php?t=65922 and the other was for some Government Grant offer. I did some research and found both of these offers among several complaint forums...everyone was getting wrongfully charged even though they cancelled within the trial period. Trader4greens, the best advice I can give you is to call these companies and see exactly what is going on before anymore money is taken from you. If you have to, just cancel your CC and get a new one, although I hope it would not have to get that far. Usually if you did cancel within the trial period and they charge you, you can get your money refunded. If you were out of the trial period and did not cancel, then unfortunately theres nothing that you can really do about it.
