HELP! What Browser can a Mac user use on Freebie Sites?

Hey,

I'm trading with a friend who uses a mac, and can't get IE 7 for it, cuz it doesn't exist. What is the best browser for this person to use that's not a proxy and will prevent him from going red?

Will Safari work, or not?

Will an older version of IE from 2003 work?

I tried to search, but could not find anything on this. Any help would be appreciated! )

I'm not a Mac user, but I would suggest any modern browser will work, whether Safari or Firefox. There's nothing special about browsers working with freebie sites, as long as it handles cookies properly and can render the pages. There are lots of Mac users here that do freebies.

Okay. I was asking because, I've read all over the place that proxies like Firefox and AOL and whatever else will cause you to not get credited for completed offers.

Firefox isn't a proxy, it's an internet browser, but I think AOL takes cookies fine, so it would be ok, but most sites don't allow AOL users.

Firefox has nothing to do with proxies. Your ISP determines whether you go through transparent proxies or not. AOL, allegedly some Earthlink althought not confirmed, and satellite services like DirectWay use proxies.
