I need some assistance or at least information. I originally created my profile and conducted my first trades on my laptop. However, I don't want to continue using this machine for trading. I have attempted to login from my desktop, but have been unable to do so. Having read most of the posts that address this issue, I do not see why this would be a problem. At this point, I am unable to even see PM's from another machine. I have attempted to use several different static IP addresses and/or dynamic IP with no luck. If someone can point me in the direction of a thread that will instruct me on how to switch computers or would be willing to assist in anyway it would be greatly appreciated.

You might PM Tholek - he is a moderator here and genius on computer technology. He may be able to help you dear. I wish I could but I am lost when it comes to ip addresses and tech.

Does the internet otherwise work okay on this desktop? You're talking about changing static and dynamic IP's, which has me wondering because a home ISP isn't going to allow you to change between static and dynamic WAN addresses like that, so it sounds like your LAN is what you're messing with.
If you can browse other sites okay and just not FiPG, what sort of error are you getting? You must enable cookies for FiPG's session tracking, so make sure that's not the problem. Clear all cookies and try again.
Your internet IP doesn't change when you use a different computer at home -- you still come from the same internet IP, just a different internal IP which doesn't matter and isn't tracked. For that matter, FiPG doesn't care how many internet IP addresses you login from either.
