You have to install a PDF viewer. Like Adobe Acrobat Reader[=http//www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html]Adobe Acrobat Reader or Foxit[=http//www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php]Foxit. I prefer Foxit myself, it's much lighter and faster.

There's several more than that actually, but Foxit is probably the most popular Adobe-alternate. You will occasionally run into something that Foxit doesn't render properly, but it's quite rare nowadays. Put it this way I've not had Adobe Reader installed on any of my machines in probably 3 years.

One feature I like about Foxit is the ability, even in the free version, to "type" onto PDF's. This is great for filling out PDF forms like rebate coupons, I-Deal certs, and yes, W9's. Gives it that professional look. The free version inserts a watermark when you save the annotated PDF, but I get around that by printing the PDF to another PDF, using a PDF printer driver (I prefer PrimoPDF for that).
