The first few paypal payouts I got from Trainn were no fees. The last 2 have all had Paypal fees taken out. My Paypal account has always been a premier account. So was Trainn paying the fees in the beginning?

If the company/person pays you via "Mass Pay" through PayPal, they get a maximum $1 fee per payment, and the person receiving the money will get no fee. However, if they do not send you a payment via "Mass Pay," they don't get a fee, and PayPal will take 2.9% + $0.30 of every payment you receive (unless it's over $3,000 | then it's 2.5%).

LucroCash also uses MassPay.

Trainn used to pay via their Paypal balance, and after the balance ran out, then they paid via credit card. If you're paid by balance, and you have a personal paypal account, then you won't see any fees. If you're paid via CC, then you pay fees no matter what.

Of course, it could be something entirely different as well ;)

We do use mass pay which most period covers all orders. All payments made by mass pay are "fee free" for the receiver as the fees are covered by the sender (us).

On some occasions, as we have a last minute cutoff time, the amount of orders can exceed the balance and cushion which prevents mass pay from being used for the remaining orders.

For the remaining orders, they are paid using instant transfers funded from a bank account. These are also free as long as you have a Personal account, but if you are using a Premier account, they are subject to the Paypal receiving fees.

I believe the paypal fee is 4.9% + $0.30. They make a LOT of money this way...

I think it may also depend on the method of payment. My husband has a personal account and just sold 2 animals to the same lady. The first one she paid by e-check and they didn't take any fees at all. The second time she paid with her paypal balance and they took the fees. Needless to say, hubby no longer likes paypal too much...

I haven't looked lately, but I think it's 2.9% +$0.30. I believe the 4.9% is if the money is funded via CC and sent to a personal Paypal account, which is converted to a Premier account to process a CC funded payment.

Yeah, it's what I had said in my post above, it's 2.9% + $0.30, unless you receive more than $3,000...then it's 2.5% + $0.30.

Last three payments I got on my [b2409b2f5bd]premier[/b2409b2f5bd] account were $4.9% + $0.30... It must have to do with the payer then.
