i think what you can look at is how they pay.
for example if you can get away with getting a payment to a nonpremier paypal account then create a new account and get the payment that way. i did that with one of my payments.
or get a visa or mysimon giftcard. or get a cheque.

Most sites you can request a check which will only take a couple more days to get, and then you won't have to make those paypal bastards richer.
