Has anyone else had this problem....
I click on 'initiate trade with this user' and I get the following error
Failed. This can happen for several reasons
- You tried to initiate a trade with yourself
- You included a link in the subject (add it later in the "notes" field)
- Your subject was too short. Make it meaningful.

I'm not trading with myself, I didn't include any links or create a subject as I only clicked the link to setup a trade.
I don't know what to do!!!
I sent a PM to admin last Thursday and still haven't heard anything back.

YOu have to make FIPG a trusted site. Do you know how to do that?

Try lowering your security settings to medium as well.

I lowered my settings and it seems to be working. I tried to add this site, but it said it had to be an https site. It wouldn't take http. Maybe that is a Vista thing, as I'm using the new windows Vista now.

also when you get failure notices... you can also cancel the trade, and re-initiate it... you can just make a note to a mod saying this is a redo of a previous site because it did not work the first time... i havent come across that problem in a while... but when i did ... thats what i did

Yup. Vista's IE7 upgraded a lot of things, especially restricting "trusted" sites to those with HTTPS (Microsoft concluded that a site couldn't be trusted unless it was using a secure protocol --Doh!)

make sure before doing offer!! clear your cookies so you can get credit easily!!!

No, I do that just fine, My problem is that I cant set up the trade just like the person who posted this thread.
