I sent a PM this morning to someone and went back to check a little while later and it was in neither my outbox nor my sentbox. It just kind of disappeared. What happened?

The only time I've seen that happen is if we have database corruption, or a database backup gets restored. I'm not aware of either happening today.

I was thinking about that - that maybe I previewed it and then just clicked to something else. Oh well - question answered. I'll just have to be more careful in future.
