I have only been doing this a week now. I ran into an offer on two different sites that I thought was different. I noticed that a companion offer for SavingSmart (sp?) existed on both.

I got an error to check my information, could not be completed, email customer service. One time I closed the window, cleared everything to complete a different offer and came back to find that I got credit for it. I am trying to make sure I don't redo an offer on any site. But does anyone know if they are the same products using different names?

I really don't want my account to go red for a site error or misunderstanding. I just tried to do ValueMax on giftmonkeys.com, got an error and realized that the cc I used did not have a balance due to a disputed amount, so I tried it again with a different cc, got the same error and closed the window. When I logged back into giftmonkey, the offer had credited to my account.

Should I avoid any offers that are bundled with another offer I have already taken eariler?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

PS - Does anyone know the difference between "offer completed" and "gone green" status in the trade module? I have left some trades at the "gone yellow" status, when I have actually completed an offer and waiting for credit for the completion at the site. I wasn't sure if there was an inbetween status while waiting for credit to go green.

"Offer completed" is when you've done the offer, but not gotten credit for it yet. Some offers take a day or more to credit so that would be a good example of when you'd use "offer completed". Once you've gotten credit for the offer/offers and you have 1 full credit at that site, you've "gone green". As for completing the offers and getting errors, that's happened to me, too. I wouldn't worry about the ValueMax credit on GiftMonkey if it's still there intact. If you're still unsure about it, open a support ticket telling them what happened. A couple of times I got error messages, but I never tried to re-do the offer again, just to make sure I didn't duplicate. Then in a few day, when I didn't get conf. emails or credit for those offers, I figured it didn't go through. I even called cust svc on one to make sure they didn't have an account for me. When they can't find you anywhere in their system, you probably haven't done the offer. Sometimes, it can be tricky, yeah? Good luck!

That is what I was thinking, just wanted to be sure. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I just ended up doing an extra offer when I thought it didn't go through.

Is it considered doing an offer more than once when an offer is coupled with something else that is the same? For example, accepting offer A includes a membership to xyz and offers B and C also include a membership to xyz.

So far I have noticed three different offers which include membership to xyz. I don't have any specific examples right now, as my spreadsheet is at home. I guess I was afraid that a site error occurred because of an existing trial membership to xyz from the first offer I accepted, even though the site gave me credit after saying there was an error.

when i was greenin i came across that a lot.. i NEVER did those offers once i read the fine print and noticed it automatically put you in for "xyz" offer which i was already enroled in for a different offer.. best advice is to read all the fine print and if the offer enrolls you into "xyz" do NOT do it if for anything just to be on the safe side.. it may or may not credit in yer case they seem to have had.. but if the offers are "pricks" im sure they can make it not credit and slam you for fraud which is what you do NOT want.. for future reference do NOT do any offers that enroll you in somethin another offer has already enrolled you for.. just my 2 cents.. better safe than sorry

It is NOT considered doing an offer more than once if the 2 offers are different - even though they may both also enroll you in "savingsmart" for example. It will give you an error but that's because it can't enroll you in "savingsmart" the second time - you'll still be enrolled in the main offer and still get credit for it.

Thanks for helping me clarify my confusion.
