Ok, so I requested a withdraw from paypal a few days ago.
Now it says completed, but nothing shows up in my bank account. help??
why can this be? any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes it says completed but your bank does not post it. Same thing happened to my girlfriend a while back, and everything turned out A-OK.

He's absolutely right Condra,
If you have ever transferred money from paypal to your bank, then you know approximately how long that takes, and this will be simular, but may take just a bit longer. They need to make sure they have cleared your account of any outstanding charges/fees etc. Different process, but nearly same results.
I'm sure you're fine, but if in doubt, contact them. wink

Yeah i've had bank transfers say complete but it would take an extra 3 days to post to my account.

man...mine always take 3-4 biz days...never sooner.
as everyone said above but remember paypal is the best to ask (i know we respond sooner ))

Paypal has been calling me every single day lately to confirm my transactions, and they freeze my accunt till I call and confirm them. The security team doing this is nice and all, but when I'm in crunch time trying to go green for people, it SUCKS!

Lol i got a called on tuesday from a lady and asked me all this questions and goes ok your paypal is limited x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x now i haven't had a single trade for the past week

I have made up to 12 payments in one day from $15.00 to $200.00 and have never been limited. Im not sure but I think they have 2 types of accounts. One that is limited and one that is not. Check with paypal and see what you can do to get the right account.

I think personal is the one they limit amounts and everything. If you have premier you have no limits, at least none I've hit. And I've done 14 pays in one day after getting paid from a site...

Going back to the time for the bank, if you have a problem waiting for the money you can always choose a different bank. Paypal is doing the same thing every time you request a transfer, the time you receive it really depends on your individual bank's policies (with a variation of +-1 day or so).

Never had anything like that happen to my premier paypal account and yeah, I've always transfer from paypal to my bank account in 3 business days.

I've had a premier business acct for about 4 yrs now. There are limits, but I think they may only be related to my debit card?? Not sure, but I know I can only withdraw $300 a day and can only spend a total of $1000 a day with my debit card. And I also know that when I first started doing freebies and was using my paypal debit card for all the offers, they did freeze my account, about 5 times. But as soon as I called and confirmed that I was the one making the purchases, they have been fine, even giving me chargebacks with an offer or two that got a bit out of control = )

When you click to transfer money from paypal to your bank account - it says it will be completed in 3-4 business days. Paypal has never called me but my bank has to confirm the withdrawals. Hope it all works out Condra - I am sure it will.

I'm glad to hear that Condra. If you have a limit on your account, you can click on the link that shows what it is per month and what transactions the limits are for.
Lifting any limit is easy, get their debit card, or add your ss number so they can verify you are who you say you are. I didn't like the idea of giving over my social, so got the debit card. Have never had a problem with paypal...knock on wood!

Did paypal sort out their shlili with you yet? Have you started trading again? I could just imagine your frustration (being a friggin celebrity around here and all lol )
Good luck with that. I have a premiere account, the only way to lift the limit on that is to verify your ss# or bank account. There is supposed to be a link on the site to do it.
