This may sound really ignorant, but can someone tell me how to get a screenshot. I have a trader that went red and he says he is not and he want me to sent him a screenshot. I do no have a clue.

There is a button in the top right of your keyboard that says "print screen" or something like that. And that will takea quick picture of what is currently viewing on your monitor.
Edit there is also a button (alt maybe) that will make it only capture the active window.

You can paste it in word too. But I agree, paint is the most common program to paste a picture. lol

Usually its Fn + PRT SC
Then after you have that, I just paste it into MSPAINT (Print Screen makes a copy of it), and then edit what I need too (LIke account number and email addresses). Then I save it as a jpg and then upload it via photobucket or imageshak.
Hope that helps

On my laptop it's FN + Prt Sc but on my desktop it's just "print scr", I think I might have to shift. But I can't remember because my desktop has been broken for like 6 months now and I'm too lazy to fix it.

Not really a flash, but if you watch very closly your curser on the mouse might blink and it's barely noticeable. Just open up paint and press ctrl+V and see if it worked

I just push "print screen" and then open up paint and paste it in paint and save as a jpeg. When you hit the print screen key your cursor should blink, you won't notice it unless you are looking at your cursor.

These may all work. Here is how I do it. When I am in the screen I want to copy, I hold down on the CTRL key and hit prtscn key, then I open up word, excel, email, whatever, and right click and select paste. Works pretty handy for proof.

It's either going to be...
1. Hold Shift + Print Screen
2. Hold Alt + Print Screen
3. Hold Fn + Print Screen
4. Just press Print Screen
After you do that, open up MSPaint, and hold Ctrl + V to paste it. Just try all 4 methods until you find which one works...
