More Moderators!

Am I wrong in thinking that there are not enough moderators here? Looking at who has been online over the course of a day there just are not many moderators that log in, unless they are hidden.

How can you check if someone has logged in - I am wondering about a few traders? If they are logging in and just not reading their PM's?

At the bottom of the Forums page is a list of everyone that has visited today and everyone who is currently here.

Why would you hide being online, though? I would think it'd be encouraged or mandatory to keep the mods' status online public, in case a user needs to reach a mod in short notice.

Well, if I'm browsing from work or somewhere when I don't have time to respond to PMs, I don't want to be visible. People will see a mod online, and PM me right away. I usually don't have time to handle an urgent PM, so I don't want to be visible... and I don't feel like toggling the button in my profile depending on where I am.

I dont' think there is any problems with mods signing in invisible. They are still here and most PM's are soo urgent that they can't wait a few hours until a mod gets to them. And they are still here and if they have time for the PM the can read it even if they are invisible.

They're here!!!!! They are helping people all the time.

I have PM'ed 2 different moderators almost a week for 1 and 4 days for another and neither have read my PM's. Just shows that there are way too many scammers here now that the mods probably can't handle the new influx of Pm's lately. My last PM to a mod was answered in like 24 hrs, before all the new scammers.

I've been sitting here for the last couple of minutes reading this thread and cracking up! It's nice to see that amidst all the scammer threads and newbie problems (even though I'm one myself) there's still a pretty great sense of humor between all you guys! I'm pretty psyched to be a part of this whole freebie thing and you vets keep me coming back for more!
