I click on the receiver contact link and get a failure message. I don't think that any of the reasons listed for failure apply to me. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Hi, Are you talking about clicking on a referral link and it leads you to a error message? If so, they they gave you a bad link. Or are you talking about something else?

Not a rerral link. On the trades page under "receiver notes/ contact" there is a link to "edit email." Apparently mine appears blank according to the requester. I click the link and get

"Failed. This happens for a number of reasons. Some of the more common are
-Trade isn't confirmed
-You pressed cancel
-You attempted to edit a variable unassociated with your username."

Ahhh I got you. Is your trade confirmed? Are you entering data in the field when the pop up comes up? If so try and contact a mod about this issue.

Trade gone green. It won't even let me get to the point where I can enter data. That message pops up as soon as I click the link.

So on the left...does it say your trade is confirmed?

If your trade is confirmed, you need to turn off your popup blocker, because the box that you enter your information in is a popup.

also if your using IE7 try lowering your security settings. then you can make this an approved site and you should be ok

gator1002 is very close, but for clarification the feedback/contact/paypal link is not a popup window it is a script window and they are a little different. If you have not figured it out yet a simple fix is to change your security from medium-high to medium.

The change of the security setting to MEDIUM did the trick. Thanks.
