If it is in the trade module, it is recognized as a trade, but neither of you will get credit if it isn't accepted by both people. If you initiated it, then he has to accept. If he initiated it, then you have to accept.
Simple.

On the main forum page at the bottom it lists all current users.
And give him a little time if he hasn't confirmed.

well wait when did you do this? has he not answered you for a couple of days or weeks?? if yes then you contact a mod, if not just wait for him...
