I have set up a few successful trades but but now when I go to initiate a trade from a username, whether in a profile, forum post or a pm I get an error message saying that it failed? Is this happening to anyone else?

It's most likely because you have a pop-up blocker enabled. If you are using Firefox, go to Tools, then go to Content and then uncheck block pop-up windows. Then you should be good to go.

I'm using IE and I have the pop up blocker off.

Same thing with me. Using IE, popup blocker is off and I get a Failed error message when trying to initiate a trade using the link via profile and/or post.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I opened my Internet Options in IE7, clicked "Security" and lowered the level to the lowest (Medium).
Then I was able to edit my notes.
IMMEDIATELY afterward, I went back in and set it back to its previous level.
It evidently has something to do with scripts.Hope this solves it for you.

Or, why don't you add "li.freeipodguide.com" to the "allowed list" and therefore it will disable all protection against this site.
