Do i need AIM?

hello i'm sorry to act like a total newbie here but thats what i am eh? lol anyway i was just wondering do i need to make an AIM account for trading? i already have msn and yahoo but not AIM

No, it's not a requirement. AIM is only one mean of contacting people if you do not wish to communicate via PMs. ;)

It seems that many have the others also (Yahoo/MSN). Being an "old fart", I'm not used to IMing but I've gotten Yahoo Messenger. I can see it's usefulness so I'm coming out of the "stoneage" of Internet usage! lol

I would say go ahead and get AIM alot of people have it and its free. soo ya

As a noobie though, it is safer to work through PMs on the board. Only use AIM to trade w/ ppl after you've confirmed that you are talking to who you actually think you are from the forum...

thank you i didn't plan to reply outside of the pm's for a while anyway till i get to know people a bit better was just wondering on that is all. I will get aim then D
