With the YGF sites, you can custom order, meaning, if you only want to get 1 referral, then you can, and you'll get paid $40.

However, many sites require you to have at least 3 for something good.

On the other hand, you can trade or pay people for refs. Check out the Trading Forum (or whatever it's called) for more info and examples of others' referral-generating tactics.

non credit card sites are a good way to go as well. free4every1 has free offers and u can trade to get referrals or pay people a low amount.
yourgiftsfree has a non credit card site as well.

as for the credit card sites, I recommend trainn as they are the best network from which i have actually gotten a prize. I have not done a yourgiftsfree site but hear good things

We do D. A lot of sites have those kind of offers but you just have to shop and compare to see which one benefits you the most. Good luck!
