wii release amount?

does anyone know how many wii's are going to be available on the US release date?

i searched on google and keep getting conflicting information.

I'm sure Nintendo will release more than X-Box 360's and it prolly won't be as popular.

I believe I read somewhere that the US gets something around 1-2 million units. I could be wrong but if that's the case, there will be plenty.
