Because last I checked, there are at least three members brandishing the reflink in their sigs and one posted it up in the trading post.

They were never allowed (with exception to FusionCash). I guess the mods just missed them.

Correct. And rather than scour every single post for reflinks, we ask that users that notice them use the Report button to bring them to our attention.

Would it be really easy to ban the word "?ref" or automatically replace it with "NoYouDidunt" with code already in phpBB?
