Anyone ever try using it to pay for an offer? It is a mastercard afterall...Just curious. Thanks!

Yeah, it works fine, assuming you mean the physical plastic card and not the virtual PayPal MC number. Their virtual MC doesn't have the 3-digt CCV code or whatever it's called, so it won't work for most offers.

Yeah it works very well, but sometimes they may call, but it's to verify some transactions that seem suspicious. Don't worry though, it isn't anything serious.

I wouldn't suggest using it for an offer...because if they overcharge you your pretty much fucked..

how do you figure?

Because, let's say you get paid for a site (EX. TRAINN pays you $350 for 3604free.com.) You do an offer, such as TimeFactor on your debit card. You don't wanna spend that $350, you wanna keep it in there for trades and stuff. Well, TimeFactor trial period runs out, but you've called and cancelled, and you know nothing will happen. Well, the next day after the trial ends, you see that they have charged you a whopping $99 dollars. You freak out, and want to do a chargeback. You can, but how much trouble with that be compared to the security of prepaid? Only use it for Legit Offers, to be safe, because they can and will charge.

O yea, well that makes sense. I dont do those crazy expensive offer anyways.

And the exact same thing would happen if you had a prepaid with $350 on it. Except you would be even lilessli likely to dispute any fraudulent charges with a prepaid, since they're basically like cash and you have no banking relationship with the issuing institution.

The only thing you really have to watch out for with a PayPal debit card, is to think twice before hooking your bank account and/or CC up to it as a backup funding source. Backup funding is optional, and is a new feature that allows you to charge on your PayPal debit card for more than your PayPal balance, with the excees being funded from your checking/CC account just like with an online PayPal purchase. This would be a desireable feature for lisomeli people, but could get you in trouble with doing trial offers from unscrupulous vendors who try to charge you more than they should -- if you depend on your checking account for things like bills & groceries, then you'd be pretty much screwed if a bogus charge wiped out that bank account. So if that applies to you, you probably don't want to attach any source of backup funding to your debit card.

3 Spaces or 3 zeros will usually solve that problem.

Is it a scam? I did it last Wednesday, June 21. It still hasn't credited. And I haven't received a damn thing from them.

Only if they don't validate the code. Some will take that, but many won't.

It's from the same folks as Cheat & Eat, WhiteOverNite, etc. They'll charge you over $100 almost immediately without waiting for the trial to end. Then you sometimes have to fight with them to get it refunded if you don't want their product.

They did the same to for LeanLookRX and even though I discontinued my membersip with them, they tried to charge me.

When the charge didn't go through due to insuffucient funds, they e-mailed me telling me to update my payment information. I replied back telling them that they're shady and that they can try as much as they like to get the money but I don't have any.

Never heard back from them nor did I have anymore attempted charges on my card.
