how much money have you guys spent by doing this rather than getting people to do it for you?
i'm thinking about getting a desktop off trainn, but is it a long journey? how much money was spent on offers? does it take longer? more to credit etc.
Why don't you take all the offers you want to do for that site, and add up how much it would cost to complete them all?

h3x is correct. If you see my signature, I'm pursuing the desktop through the point system. I'm having to do about 15-17 offers. The best way is to pick offers you're interested in and just add them up.

Can i sign up under someone's referral link and do point system? do i only have to do one offer still? I can't really check the points atm because i haven't signed up since i can probably get some cash out of it, if possible.

You can sign up as points but for them to get credit you have to earn X amount of points. I think you have to earn 50 points but you can check the Trainn threads and find it for sure.

So in your opinion, getting refs is more cheap and efficent? Sorry I'm new to this.

It all depends on how many offers you have done. If you can do just about any freebie site, I am willing to bet you could get a fair amount of trades towards your desktop. If you paid for all of your refs, I would say that the point system is cheaper to do rather than paying $25/ref.
I've spent $60 doing the point system for the desktop. I started on April 16th, and am now awaiting my final manual approval, so it will probably be exactly one month from start to finish for this. my $0.02.

Ya, points is probably cheaper, but you exhaust the amount of offers you can do in the long run. Like, if you just wanna get 1 thing, then go for it, but like burrito said, you're gonna have to do 15 or so offers, which will limit what other sites you could do.

Yeah, that's my only regret. I would love to trade for people, but I have done many offers thus far. Good thing I'm only really striving to get a desktop and a monitor )
