I was wondering how to report people who spam their referral links in unwelcomed places for Freepay sites? Is there an email address that we can use to contact Freepay?

you can PM jake, or send in a support ticket with the referral link that was spammed.

Are you sure it's spamming, though? If by mass e-mail, then there is no question. Posting to message boards and blogs, unless they specifically forbid it, is a gray area though. Make sure it's truly spam before you get an innocent guy DQ'd.

Well in freepay's terms of agreement, it says that it's possible to be placed on hold if their referral link is posted in a forum and it's unwelcomed. So I guess if the moderators of the forum don't like it, they can report it.

have you asked the user to stop first? i mean if it's spam it's one thing. if it's some guy's sig, you may want to give the guy a chance. do you have it in the rules for your forum about no ref links.

Exactly, that's why I said "unless they specifically forbid it." Otherwise it isn't considered spam. I frequent a LOT of online forums -- some are very hardline against ANY referral links whatsoever, while others don't care at all. That's why I was mentioning to make sure it's inappropriate spamming before reporting the guy. Most likely Freepay will put the person on hold without bothering to find out if it's really spam.

Sorry, but if it's a member with one post who obviously has no interest in actually being a part of the forum, I report 'em.

Nah, even then they deserve a warning first.
