Recent Luck With Homepage Donation Links?

Anyone here had decent luck with using the donation system on the homepage to complete your referrals in the recent past? I know traffic can come and go, as critical mass is reached. Have you got it to work fairly recently?

I'm not sure about the recent success of these donation links, but you can try it out for free.

On the Off-Topic forum, there's a sticky that basically states that anyone who submits an article gets free link time or a custom title.
