I have a few friends that want to sign up and do some sites but they use AOL. 1 uses AOL dialup(I know, who still uses dialup), and the others use AOL broadband. I know AOL uses cache servers so the IP would be the same using AOL browser. I would imagine freepay/trainn understand this and it won't be an issue but wanted to verify first.

Indeed; AOL browser = bad for freesites.

So they are just out of luck being AOL users even when they are broadband subscribers?

Well, your friend that has AOL for broadband doesn't have to use their shitty browser. It's always on...so he can use any browser he wants. I think even the dial-up person can too, but I don't remember....it's been so long since I've had dial-up )

But he would still have an AOL IP.

I used to have dial up- WHILE AGO, and I remember I could go onto internet explorer. In fact my friend had AOL and did an offer for me on his INTERNET EXPLORER (not on AOL). It worked fine.

Oh i thought the problem was the AOL IP cause it's shared not the AOL browser. If they can just use IE that's cool.
