paypal question

how do i get a virtual cc number
and
if i have bank acct linked to paypal and an offer tries to ping it will it autodraw it from there like when i pay on ebay or will it decline it if i use virtual cc?

It will decline it if you don't have sufficient funds.

However, some offers will find a way to charge it and put your account balance into the negative (assuming you don't have money in there).

the virtual cc# is under the withdrawal button on the main page.......

and i believe that paypal wont touch your physical cc's or your bank account for that matter even if the offers try and charge you more than you have in your account....the offers will just be turned away....not 100% sure though....someone on here told me that.....

i have a question towards this...say they try to charge you 100 dollars and you have 10 dollars...will they take the 10 dollars and get rejected from the rest or automatically get rejected in totall

when i go to the page to sign up for it (where the link to that page is anyhow) it dosent give me the link anyone know if there is another way around besides in the help section it directs me to? - to get to the virtual card i mean

Log in--->Withdraw--->Shop online with PayPal Virtual Card--->Enter store URL (I just enter www.google.com, it doesn't matter what URL you enter)

A little window will pop up with your CC number, card type (it's a Mastercard), and expiration date. If you need a #CV2 number, usually 000 or 123 works, but if those two don't work, you aren't going to be able to do the offer with the virtual CC, most offers DO work though.

And Manofice-No, they won't, at least not in my experience.

well if your asking how to sign up for one.....you cant technically....you need a physical cc to back up the account in order to use this feature.....but dont worry because they will never touch that card without permission....they will only take out from your paypal balance....

You need your bank account tied up to it to use the virtual cc....i think

i have my bank account verified on the account too =/ paypal just hates me lol
