Hey guys, I'm doing a ref for games.pay-zero and decided to sign up for a webhost because I want to start webmastering. Which one should I choose and why? The only two choices are PowWeb Hosting and BlueFish Web Hosting. If there is some other that I didn't list... that is way better than these two, please let me know. Thanks!
Okay I did some research... both PowWeb and BlueFish look sorta crappy compared to other webhosts like 1&1. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

I moved to PowWeb from 1and1. It's simply amazing.
However, Dreamhost beats all.. not on any freesites, I don't think, though. 97 dollar coupon gets you $24 for hosting and domain.

OH NOES! 8 dollars for domain registration not refundable because you canceled your account.

yeah but its his 8 bucks and he should get it back, i read about half of it and i couldnt read the rest lol, did u get the money back or not?

What advantages does PowWeb have over 1and1? Seems like 1&1 is a much more professional site with much more options.

Actually, I used Powweb for about a year, and their service was okay. They went down a couple times due to "server issues", but other than that there were no problems. I'm going off memory cuz I did this about 3 yrs ago.

Thanks for all the help. I'm signing up for PowWeb with games.pay-zero ($50 visa gift card). So thats $50 off my 1 year host. Then another $25 from someone paying me to be thier ref + 6 months free hosting with thier current special offer at PowWeb.
So...
1.5 years of hosting will cost me about $20. Good Deal!
One last question though. Does this site offer more than one domain usage for thier hosting? I can't seem to find out on any of thier pages.

It wasn't about the money, it was about the principle of it. They lied to me in the email and went way out of their way to prevent from fixing the problem for their customer.
