Like the title says, I need some sites that can host some songs for free.

http//www.purevolume.com/ i think you're limited to 3 songs, but its a nice site
http//www.hxcmp3.com/ there are tons of genre specific sites like this (hxcmp3 == hardcore/metal) use google
http//www.myspace.com/ duh! ;) create a "band" account and upload your mp3s
each site has an approval period too, i think. so you'll have to wait for them to approve your songs before they're up for public consumption.
otherwise, there are other sites like http//putfile.com/ and http//www.yousendit.com/ you can host them on too.
Soundclick (http//www.soundclick.com/) - Very nice site. I used to use it a lot when I was very productive with my band.
You can host it be genre and it used to provide streaming MP3s. Not like purevolume Flash crap.
Also, there is no limit to songs you can upload.

No, there's no approval period, on myspace you just load them up and there they are.
