Its not against the rules to suggest a offer as long as you don't walk them through it then your fine

Technically, telling your refs to do a certain offer is walking them through. The whole idea is for them to sign up, and choose an offer that they are interested in. Not sign up and do an offer because the person they are signing up under will get a quick green.
If you get all your refs to do the same offer, it will raise suspicions that you have walked them through the process and your account may be put on hold, or your refs may be disqualified.

I think thats stupid though, because most of refs (including you, tsj!) on gratis nano's did rhapsody, simply because its probably the only appealing offer to my friends... they don't want some fucking face cream.

well yeah thats true......which is why all these free sites need more offers that cater to the people doing them.
whilst they do have some, its really nowhere near enough.

I still can't believe people like "1800 patches" think that they are catering to the audience of these sites, 18 to 25 year olds males using the computer frequently.

Actually they are hoping you forget to cancel your subscription so they can charge you an unreasonable price.

I know, but it just doesn't appeal to people who would be genuinely interested.

Right, i was not saying that your telling your referrals what offer to do, i was saying that you "suggest" as in most people on the net want "cheap" music and rhapsody is great for that so you say, hey if you want some real cheap music i suggest you do rhapsody, its instant credit and most people find great interest in this offer.
Funny. My friend had the same question and I answered with the following
It doesn't really matter since all of your friends will head to the instant offers first, and when they notice it says "FREE STAMPS.COM TRIAL," they're going to head to that instead of all the other offers who require more than to sign up for a free trial. It doesn't take a genius to notice the offer, so if I worked for Trainn, I would not see anything wrong with it. And since they give you $5 dollars of free stamps for trying them out, of course they'll try it out.
