Nothing wrong with that. its actually good to have more, just incase one or two get rejected.

It isn't necessary, but Comp is right...if you're really anxious to get approved, having one or two extra greens can be viewed as insurance. On the other hand, if you're trying to be as cheap/efficient as possible and timing isn't as important to you, it's worth requesting approval when you've met the minimum referral requirement.
